Josh started his track to becoming a Financial Advisor by graduating from the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. He has always enjoyed working with numbers but needed to find the right fit. He dabbled in engineering but ultimately decided to work in the tax field. This however was missing something so he left doing taxes and went off to grad school at the University of Texas at Dallas where he earned a Masters degree in Finance. This led him to the career of being a Financial Advisor, where he could use his skill with numbers and his desire to help others.
Coming to Redwood was the easy part. Being part of Redwood Financial allows Josh to use his knowledge of investment planning and retirement planning to meet the goals his clients set forth. The combined knowledge in these areas and others allow Josh to confidently work with individuals, families, and small business owners to tailor investment strategies upon learning about each client and their goals on a personal level.
Josh currently resides in Fort Worth with his wife Madison. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports with an emphasis on football, and traveling to new places.
